Christy Lenahan, FNP
Christy Lenahan is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana and is alumna of Sts. Leo-Seton Catholic School, Northside High School, and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2002 and her Master's in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama in 2007 and 2014. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Christy began her professional career at University Medical Center (now University Health Center) in Lafayette and has since practiced, at Lafayette General Medical Center, Acadiana Cares, and,of course, Serenity MedAesthetics.
She currently serves as the Graduate Coordinator of Nursing tasked with supervision of Masters (nurse practitioner and nursing education) and Doctoral programs at UL Lafayette. Christy is an active member of several professional organizations and has multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations. She volunteers every year at the LouisianaLion’s Camp for children and for various local functions throughout the year. Christyis a member of the St Pius Catholic Church community, Youngsville Lion’s Club, and Youngsville Chamber of Commerce. Her hobbies include fishing, crocheting, and crafting with her children.
Emily Vicknair, FNP
With a passion for helping people feel better and lead happier lives, Emily enjoys coming into work knowing she will be making a positive difference. Emily has been a resident of the Lafayette community now for 18 years and is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for both her BSN and MSN degree. Emily’s a Family Nurse Practitioner who has been in emergency medicine for over 8 years. Her zest for helping people certainly started in emergency medicine and now she gets to bring her skills and knowledge to the aesthetic community. When Emily is not working, she enjoys date nights with her husband, playtime with her two dogs (Sophie & Daisy), and exercising.
Tabatha Semien, LE
Tabatha Semien is a native of Prairie Ronde, Louisiana and has been an esthetician for 13 years. She became a licensed esthetics instructor in 2018 and has taught hundreds of esthetics students throughout south Louisiana. Her passion is educating patients and helping them achieve their skin care goals. Tabatha specializes in a holistic approach to skin care which incorporates clinical procedures and medical grade skin care with more natural health and lifestyle choices. She has attended multiple continuing education courses to expand her knowledge on skin health and corrective techniques. Tabatha is an alumna of Opelousas Catholic School, Aveda Institute of Lafayette, and University Of Louisiana at Lafayette. When she is away from Serenity she enjoys spending time outdoors with her children, exploring her artistic abilities, and studying all things skin related.
Belinda Bienvenu, Massage Therapist
Belinda Bienvenu was born and raised in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. She attended Breaux Bridge High School and graduated from the Institute of Cosmetology, Tricology, and Aesthetics in 1982. She graduated from the Louisiana Institute of Massage Therapy in 2000 and was also certified as a CNA from Evangeline Technical College in 2002. She received her certificate as a medical massage therapist in 2005. She has worked diligently to serve patients well since her certification. Outside of massage therapy, she is the third generation to own and run Catin’s, a finalist in the Acadiana Community Choice Awards. She is an active parishioner at St Bernard Catholic Church and a member of Catholic Daughters. She loves being outdoors in her spare time: biking and camping.
Cloie Martin
Cloie Martin was born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana. She is a graduate from Highland Baptist Christian School. Newly licensed esthetician as of August 2023. While working the front desk her passion lies with skincare and beauty. She loves seeing familiar faces and looks forward to answering any questions you may have, ensuring your experiance at Serenity MedAesthetics is exceptional. Outside of work she spends her time coaching her cheerleading teams.
Lee Lenahan, M.D.
Dr. Lee Lenahan has called the Lafayette Parish area home since 1981 when he attended USL. He completed medical school at LSU in New Orleans in 1991 and residency at Big Charity in New Orleans before moving back to Lafayette in 1995. Dr. Lenahan began his professional career at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Lafayette. His professional activities include volunteering medical care internationally and at the Louisiana Lion’s Camp for children, lecturing fellow physicians and residents, as well as collaborating with nurse practitioners. He is a member of the St Pius Catholic Church community, Youngsville Lion’s Club, and Youngsville Chamber of Commerce. His hobbies include photography, boating, kite flying, and activities with his children.
